◆Background
Chen Yanbo, born in 1982, is a native of Zunyi, Guizhou. He holds a PhD in Philosophy and is a professor and doctoral supervisor. Currently, he serves as the Director of Human Resources and Dean of the School of Philosophy at Guizhou University, and is the Director of the Guizhou Provincial “‘Heart Philosophy’ of Communist Party Members and high-end Think Tanks on the Advancement of the Party's New Great Project.” Chen is a national young cultural talent (theoretical category) recognized by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, an expert included in the ninth batch of provincial experts managed by Guizhou Province, and is among the fifth batch of academic leaders in Philosophy and Social Science in Guizhou's higher education institutions. He is responsible for the national first-class philosophy program and leads Guizhou University's innovative team focused on the Heart Philosophy of Communist Party members. Chen also heads the “Young Academic Pioneer” project in Guizhou Philosophy and Social Science. Chen has been awarded numerous honors, including the titles of “Academic Pioneer” in Guizhou Philosophy and Social Science”, “Golden Teacher”(famous teacher) in ordinary university of Guizhou Province, “Most Beautiful Worker” in Guizhou Province, and he has been selected as one of the “Favorite Mentors of Graduate Students” at Guizhou University. He has also been recognized as an “Excellent Teacher by Qingyuan Green Pesticides” at Guizhou University. In addition to his primary roles, Chen holds various leadership positions, including President of the Guizhou Provincial Philosophical Society, a standing board member of the Chinese Society for the History of Marxist Philosophy and the Contemporary Cultural Philosophy Society, a member of the seventh committee of the Guizhou Federation of Social Sciences, and Secretary-General of the Teaching Advisory Committee for Humanities and Social Sciences of Higher Education Institutions in Guizhou.
