Personal Profile

Pan Zhichen, male, born in 1988 in Zhejiang, is an Associate Researcher at National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NAOC). He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2016 and has been working at here. His research primarily focuses on pulsar searching and timing, astrochemistry, and star formation.

Engaged in research related to star formation and pulsar searching, utilizing telescopes like FAST to discover dozens of pulsars, including binaries pulsar, millisecond pulsars, and other special types of pulsars. Conducting pulsar surveys in globular clusters with FAST. Published research results in international journals, including ApJ, MNRAS, RAA, totaling over 30 papers, with 7 as first author or corresponding author.
