On 22 November, Danny Green, vice chancellor of York College of Pennsylvania, visited Guizhou University, meeting with vice president Zhang Qin and representatives of such departments as Office of Teaching Affairs, College of Graduate Affairs, Research Institute of Scientific Technology, Office of International Relations, School of Music, and eleven more.
Zhang gave a brief introduction of Guizhou province concerning its geography, culture, and tourism, adding that Guizhou University has its advantages over teaching subjects, with international exchanges and cooperation in particular, and has its mission and duty under the project of the “an university with a top ranking and world-class subjects”. There is high hope that this visit would boost bilateral understanding before conducting cooperation via the construction of international platform that will lead to mutual benefit and win-win results.
Green also briefed the development, international cooperation, and features of his college, with its international students policy very attractive to GZU representatives.
GZU representatives also introduced their colleges in case there may be cooperation potentials, especially in bilateral visits, scientific cooperation declaration, credits for certification, ect.
