A delegation from Cardiff University headed by Prof. Kenneth Hamilton, dean of School of Music, Rachael Langford, dean of School of Modern Languages, Nick Parsons, international chief of School of Modern Languages, and Flora Wang, marketing director of CU in China visited Guizhou University on 9 May. A meeting was held at No.2 Meeting Room of the Administrative Building on the North Campus, attended by Hong Yun, director of Office of International Relations, Fan Bin, party secretary of College of Music, Ning Mei, vice dean of College of Foreign Relations, etc.
Importance of this meeting was attached to bilateral cooperation featuring joint educational programs.
After this meeting, the delegation paid a visit to a couple of colleges like College of Foreign Languages and College of Music.
Prof. Kenneth Hamilton delivered a speech on piano skills from the end of the 18th century to the 20th century, which was heightened by his piano performance and encouragement to students during the Q&A.
Prof. Rachael Langford and Prof. Nick Parsons visited College of Foreign Languages to further discuss with Prof. Ning Mei on bilateral cooperation featuring “1+1+1” program and student exchange program.
