In the afternoon of Nov. 7, delegation from China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) visited Guizhou University and held talks with vice president Song Bao’an at the Renwen Hall of Academy of Chinese Culture.
Song introduced the great development of international education and exchange of GU, adding that GU failed to make an early start for history and geography reasons, so more support and resources are expected from CEAIE to compensate for inadequacies at staff, international students and scientific technology exchanges, and to work with more international universities to further international education cooperation.
Li Chunsheng, secretary-general of CEAIE, hoped GU to take advantage of China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, and take Southeast Asia as a window for international exchange, thus to share Chinese wisdom, experience and approach with the world. He also said that CEAIE would introduce more experience and resources from western countries to GU.
Li also answered questions from certain representatives of GU.
