On October 1, free dinner coupons were issued to all students and faculties on the West, East and South campuses of Guizhou University to celebrate the National Day.

In No.3 Cafeteria on the West Campus, Li Jianjun, secretary of the Party Committee of Guizhou University, enjoyed a meal with the students and asked them about their daily routine and study during the epidemic. Li discussed with them about the choice of graduate school and major, and made relevant suggestions. He stressed that the university would offer support and help to the students, and hoped that they would seize the day and live up to their youth.

In the cafeteria of Shuangxingyuan on the East Campus, Academician Song Bao’an, president of the university came to the students and asked them questions like, "Do the meals taste good? Are there any difficulties in your life? What are the plans for the National Day?" During the period, he inquired the students in detail about their living conditions and suggested them to turn to their teachers when they were in difficulties. He encouraged the students to express their opinions freely and suggested them to strive hard if they intended to take the national post-graduate entrance examination. In the end, president Song revealed his best wish for the students.

The students said that the concern and blessings from the university had made them feel warm and caring, and they would work harder to make Guizhou University proud of them.
