On May 30th, a joint concert between the two universities was held at the College of Music of GZU.

Concert Attendees included: Mr. Tangi Utikere, Deputy Mayor of Palmerston North, New Zealand; Luo Changjiang, Deputy Secretary of the GZU Party Committee; Zhang Qin, Vice President of GZU; Hu Rui, Director of the P.E., Health and Art Office of Guizhou Education Department; Chen Xiaofei, Deputy Secretary General of Guizhou Education Association for International Exchange; Dr. Higgins, Head of the HSU Music Department; and Mu Weiping, Dean of the GZU College of Music.

GZU officially joined the Sino-American CHEPD 1+2+1 Program in December 2017. Music Performance is one of the cooperative programs. Through this interactive exchange event, GZU has not only strengthened further cooperation with HSU in the music area, but also explored a new model of open international education for China’s higher education in the new era.
